Help with GLPMGR
Frequently asked questions
How do I start or cancel my subscription?
GLPMGR is free to use, and Premium is optional. Premium unlocks the estimated medication level chart, the injection body map, the PDF report, blood glucose charts, side-effect timing patterns, symptoms around a dose increase, protein tracking, progress photos, the body measurements history, body composition trends, Home and Lock Screen widgets (the Progress widget is free), Live Activities, the dose alarm and Protein page on Apple Watch, and Siri and Shortcuts. Everything else stays free, with no time or entry limits: dose logging with dose steps (titration), reminders and supply alerts, weight and symptoms, water, blood glucose tracking, the Apple Watch app (without the dose alarm and the Protein page), the free Progress widget, and a full backup or spreadsheet of your data. There are two Premium plans: Monthly (£4.99) and Yearly (£24.99). The Yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers; the Monthly plan has no trial. Subscribe from any Premium tile in GLPMGR, or from Settings → Premium. To cancel, go to your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → GLPMGR and cancel there. If you're on the free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid being charged. Cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current period; you keep Premium until it ends. When it ends, your data stays on your device and stays visible in the free views and in your exports; only the Premium features lock, and they unlock again if you resubscribe.
I reinstalled the app or got a new device — how do I get my subscription back?
Open GLPMGR and tap Restore Purchases in Settings → Premium. This restores an active subscription tied to your Apple ID without charging you again.
Where is my data stored? Is it backed up?
Everything you log stays on your own devices — GLPMGR has no servers of its own and doesn't sync your records to iCloud. If you pair your iPhone and iPad with iPhone & iPad Sync, they keep the same entries directly between the two. GLPMGR's data is also excluded from iCloud Backup and from a computer backup, so it does not restore automatically on a new or wiped device. To back up or move your data yourself, export it from Settings → Data & Backup — this is a complete copy, including photos, dosing schedules and settings, protected by a password you set when you create it — and import the file on the other device. You can also turn on automatic backups there, which save the same password-locked file to a folder you choose in the Files app, such as iCloud Drive or a USB drive. Deleting the app removes its local data, but not exports or backups you saved elsewhere.
Can I use GLPMGR on my iPhone and iPad together?
Yes. On one device go to Settings → iPhone & iPad Sync and tap Show a Code on This iPhone; on the other, tap Scan or Type a Code. From then on the two keep the same entries, including photos, whenever they're near each other on the same Wi-Fi (or close by), directly between them and encrypted — never through iCloud or a server. Settings such as reminders and tiles stay each device's own.
Is GLPMGR in my language?
GLPMGR is in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil), and follows your iPhone's language. To use a different one for GLPMGR alone, go to the iPhone's Settings → Apps → GLPMGR → Language. Medicine information quoted from leaflets is translated by GLPMGR from the English: the leaflet in your medicine's pack is the one to follow.
I forgot the password on my backup file.
There's no way to recover it — GLPMGR doesn't keep the password of a backup you make by hand, which is what keeps the file safe if it ends up somewhere else. (If you turn on automatic backups, GLPMGR keeps that password in your device's Keychain so they can run by themselves, and never writes it into the backup.) You'll need to export a new backup with a password you'll remember.
How do I export my data for my doctor?
Go to Settings → Data & Backup. Export Doctor Report (PDF) makes a tidy summary to share or print for an appointment. Export a Spreadsheet (CSV) gives your entries as a file that opens in Numbers or Excel. Back Up Everything (JSON) is a complete, password-protected copy for moving to a new device. Everything is made on your device.
I imported an old backup and my photos are missing.
JSON exports made before photos were included in the file (an older version of GLPMGR) restore your entries but not the images — there's nothing in that file to recreate them from. A fresh export always includes your photos.
How do I sync my weight with Apple Health?
Turn on Save Weight to Apple Health in Settings → Apple Health. GLPMGR then writes weight you log to Apple Health's own on-device store. This is off by default and never involves a third-party server.
What does Muscle Support show?
Turn on Muscle Support in Settings → Apple Health, and a Today tile shows your average protein a day over the last 7 days and your strength sessions this week, read from Apple Health (protein from your food app, workouts from your Apple Watch or a workout app). It's off by default, asks for its own Health permission, and never saves or writes anything. You can add your own daily protein number, if you have one, to see how many days reached it. It's not medical advice: talk to your doctor or dietitian about what's right for you.
The Apple Watch app isn't showing my data.
Open GLPMGR on your iPhone first — the Watch app has no data of its own and only displays what your phone last sent it over Bluetooth. If it's still stuck after that, make sure your Watch is paired and unlocked, then reopen the Watch app.
Does GLPMGR give medical advice or calculate my dose?
No. GLPMGR is a personal tracking and reminder tool — it follows the schedule you or your prescriber set up, and never works out or recommends a dose on its own. Always follow the instructions from your doctor, nurse or pharmacist. See our Terms of Use for details.
I found a bug or have an idea for a feature.
For a bug, email info@isafenet.app with as much detail as you can — what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead. Screenshots help a lot.
For an idea, email it to info@isafenet.app. We read every idea.
